**Reports To:** Senior Manager, National Media (Writing)
**Position Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager to join our Digital Marketing team to support Newell’s portfolio of brands within our Writing category. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing and optimizing Paid Media programs, specifically across digital channels. This role demands a strategic mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and a comprehensive understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem. The ideal candidate is inquisitive, proactive, data-driven, and a critical thinker who continuously seeks innovative and effective advertising capabilities to enhance engagement and drive incremental ROI throughout the customer lifecycle.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing startegies across all writing brands with a heavy emphasis on Paid Social, Paid Search, and Programmatic channels
+ Collaborate with our external agency to deliver holistic media plans structured to accomplish and meet brand KPIs
+ Oversee campaign optimizations and ensure they are being reported back to Brand Management
+ Monitor flighting, spend, and performance on a regular cadence
+ Work closely with Influencer and Engagement teams to effectively plan and pace UGC/Influencer assets and activity
+ Assist in leading and mentoring a cross-functional marketing team
+ Set and update clear performance expectations and regularly review progress
+ Implement and oversee ongoing A/B tests for ad copy, targeting strategies, landing pages, and bidding models to improve conversion rates and overall campaign efficiency
+ Collaborate with Martech and Analytics teams to ensure precise and streamlined tracking of user attribution throughout the entire purchase funnel
+ Collaborate with Brand Management, DTC and Creative Design teams to build customer-facing messaging that aligns to the brand’s positioning and priorities
+ Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and changes within our industry. Evaluate and test new strategies to ensure the organization remains competitive
+ Leverage both internal and external teams to develop data-driven optimization opportunities; build business cases for support with defined expectations
**Required Experience/Qualifications:**
+ 4-year college degree
+ 5+ years of Agency or Brand experience, hands-on-keys experience is preferred
+ Experience working with partners such as Google, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, Hulu, Amazon, and Walmart
+ Working knowledge of digital marketing KPIs and ability to optimize based on relevant performance and brand priorities
+ Experience tracking and managing paid media budgets
+ Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across multiple lines of business, influential amongst peers to drive change
+ Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and workstreams while effectively managing changing priorities.
+ Demonstrate critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
+ Exceptional verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and confidently to internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners
+ Take initiative & has a passion for winning
