The Opportunity

Our location in Lake Forest, IL has an open opportunity for a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis supporting the Global Services Operations within the Core Diagnostics business. This position is critical and supports the Divisional Vice President of Global Service, Area Service Directors and other members of the organization.  The Manager will lead the forecasting processes, provide accurate and timely financial reporting, analytics and ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial information.

What You’ll Work On

Prepare financial forecasts for HQ Service organizationCoordinate and consolidate the Global Service financial forecasts and analyticsManage month-end close process and reporting of monthly financial resultsDevelop and maintain financial models and analysisProvide strategic financial support, including financial modeling and analysis for ongoing key business initiatives and strategic projectsAssist with preparation of financial presentations and KPIs to be shared with senior leaders within the organizationProvide financial guidance to budget managers, including providing financial guidance for capital projectsCreate sustainable and efficient FP&A processes leading to ongoing process improvementsEnsure compliance with financial policiesManage, coach and develop two direct finance professionals.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance; MBA and/or CPA preferred.7+ years of combined experience in accounting or financial planning and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior supervisory experience strongly desired.Knowledge and application of financial planning and accounting concepts, procedures and practices.Candidate must posess strong technical skills (e.g. Excel, Power Point) with ability to learn systems quickly. Experience with SAP, TM1 and HFM is preferred. Ability to apply professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve routine problems and exercise independent decision making.Requires strong analytical skills and modeling skills.Must have strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills and the ability to interact with various levels of personnel, including senior management.Strong organizational skills, self-starter, with ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment highly preferred.

The base pay for this position is $111,300.00 – $222,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
