Job Description
Position Summary:
Reporting to our Plant Manager you will Manage the Asset development activities from the identification of new equipment's/assets opportunities through maintainability, and the migration/integration of competitive products for related Rockwell and hardware business to meet the customer's maintenance and engineering needs. Also, IT and security is part of the responsibility of this role.
Main responsibilities:
Evaluate internal customer satisfaction, determining and communicating future needs and select personnel to ensure the efficient operations of the managed functions, including creating a process of continuous improvement that creates additional value for the services being delivered to the customer.
Define strategy and help ensure the necessary Engineering and Maintenance control and procedures that allow equipment available and proper New Product Introduction.
Lead the develop and improvement of processes to achieve the cost reduction and Manufacturing Equipment Excellenve.
Work with production control and manufacturing functions to establish detailed capacity planning for workforce and equipment to ensure our goals are met.
Define the plant's project and risk management strategy following established procedures and guidelines to ensure the proper facilitation and maintenance of plant resources/equipment for the continuity of production processes.
Responsible for all physical safety and IT support needed to support the integrity of physical assets and technology for the site.
Cultivate relationships with other responsibilities to enhance productivity and cooperation. Encourage all personnel to work together and improve performance.
Provide the resources required to introduce new products,
. Manage departmental employee establishing clear goals, providing the resources they need to do their jobs and ensuring their development.
Direct and follow up with personnel under your responsibility at plant level to ensure that they are completed for process continuity.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree in industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or another relative career.
Master's in business administration (MBA), Project Management or similar
5 years of experience at management level and maintenance area.
Full bilingual Spanish/English.
Lean Manufacturing Tools expertise.
Knowledge of IT packages.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
Quality System audit certification. Lean or 6 sigma certification. Diploma in maintenance, project management or facilities management.
