Our client, an Industrial leader, is seeking a Machinist Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the operations supporting the machinery maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machinist Technician

Location: Westwood, MA

Pay Range: $30-$35 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday to Friday from 3pm to 11pm

What's the Job?

Responsible for the upkeep and repair of industrial machinery. Performing preventative maintenance inspections. Diagnosing mechanical issues. Disassembling and replacing faulty parts. Ensuring equipment operates efficiently by utilizing machine tools to fabricate replacement components when necessary.

What's Needed?

High School diploma or GED. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Mechanical and electrical knowledge and background is required. Good understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and pumps is required. Strong troubleshooting skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
