Machinist II - Weekend Shift - $26.00/hr + $1.00 Shift Premium
Work Flexibility: Onsite

Schedule: Fri – Sun, 6:00am – 6:30pm

                  Mon, 6:00am – 10:00am*

Training on 1st Shift: Mon – Thurs, 6:00am – 4:30pm

What you will do: 

As the Machinist II, you will produce machined parts using a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) lathe machine. Interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials lists, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters.

Under general supervision operate and understand complex machinery, inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment, and keep accurate production records and maintenance logsAdhere to site specific quality systems and processesAbility to recognize and troubleshoot quality concerns with product and/or inspection equipmentInterprets work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials lists, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces and machining parametersUse complex precision measuring equipment to ensure components meet engineering specificationsRecognize and train others on identifying cosmetic defectsProficient with multiple machine set-upsRead part prints

What you need: 

Required:

High school Diploma or GEDBlueprint reading, measuring tools - calipers, micrometers, gauges3 years related machining experience

Preferred:

5 years related machining experience - Swiss Lathe CNC preferredProficient with Swiss Lathe machiningGeneral knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing application
