Sanofi has decided to invest into a new large state-of-the art facility for Insulin Drug Substance in Beijing, China. For this green field operation, we’re enhancing our legacy of excellence and build on decades of expertise on the whole value chain of insulin manufacturing. The new facility will be designed as a fully automated, green, modern, and state-of-the-art biologics facility. A large global and highly cross-functional program organization will be established to lead and execute the program until commercial routine manufacturing.

The Program Management Office Beijing IFB (Insulin Facility Beijing) ensures structured project execution, governance adherence, and stakeholder alignment within a major Sanofi investment program. This role focuses on milestone tracking, risk management, reporting, and communication to enable successful project delivery. He or she will coordinate project management efforts, facilitating collaboration across international teams and ensuring consistent methodologies are applied. The role also entails transversal interactions with multiple stakeholders requiring excellent communication skills. He or she will work closely with the global functions, the insulin cluster, the China cluster as well as with the E2E lead.
Main responsibilities

1. Project Governance & Execution
o Oversee the PMO function for Insulin Facility Beijing (IFB), ensuring adherence to governance frameworks.
o Track milestones, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with program objectives.
o Facilitate issue resolution and provide guidance to project teams.
2. Risk & Reporting Management
o Develop risk dashboards, tracking IFB’s critical risks and mitigation actions.
o Generate reports and executive updates, ensuring clear visibility of project progress.
o Maintain project documentation and ensure effective information flow.
3. Stakeholder Communication & Change Management
o Drive structured communication efforts, ensuring alignment across teams.
o Support change management initiatives to ensure seamless project adaptation.
o Coordinate team engagement activities and collaboration efforts.
About you

Education: Advanced degree in chemical engineering, pharmacy, or related field.Experience: 6 years in a pharmaceutical industry experience with expertise in risk management, program governance, and executive reporting.Technical Expertise: Experience in program management within the pharmaceutical industry with skills in budgeting, risk management and KPI tracking. Ability to manage high-stakes projects and engage cross-functional teams. Strong ability to develop executive reports, dashboards, and structured documentation. Proficiency in PMO tools (e.g., SharePoint, dashboards, risk matrices).Leadership: Organizational, communication, team leadership skills, and proactive problem solver.Languages: Excellent communication skill both in English (and Chinese), additional languages is a plus; Intercultural experience (EU/US/Asia esp.
