M&A Tax Integration Manager

We are a small, close-knit, specialized group within Cisco’s tax department liaising with a larger M&A acquisition organization within Cisco. Your Impact This 1st line Tax Manager role will manage and drive the integration process across all phases of engagement - due diligence, planning, executing and closing to deliver outstanding integration-related activity, including (but not limited to) the following: * Tax due diligence and operational discovery * Acquisition structuring and entity rationalization of medium to large deals * Tax integration step plan development * Project planning related to Tax matters * Collaborate with cross functional integration teams * Utilize project management templates to ensure a structured tax approach and timely execution * Provide Tax expertise to cross-functional teams to ensure successful acquisition and integration of the target company into mainstream tax processes * Train and mentor new integration hires * Manage Financial Management and Reporting Compliance tax group * Manage tax aspects of minority investments MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * 2+ years in public accounting and/or industry experience in M&A tax. A similar skill set of US international tax experience is also welcomed. * Alternatively, over 4+ years public accounting in general tax (e.g., tax compliance/provision) with a basic knowledge of M&A (and a desire to learn more). * Knowledge of Tax operations in a corporate setting and/or a M&A background PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * CPA * JD * Masters in Tax Why Cisco #WeAreCisco where every individual brings their unique skills and perspectives together to pursue our purpose of powering an inclusive future for all.
