**Job Purpose and Impact**
The Fleet Lead Supervisor will lead all fleet management activities for a small, standard fleet of transportation equipment or operators. In this role, you will lead fleet operations, data management, research and analysis, safety and compliance.
**Key Accountabilities**
+ Coordinate the day to day activates of fleet and driver and operators including dispatch, equipment optimization, revenue and personnel issues.
+ Lead all aspects of the maintenance of the fleet to comply with company and government regulations.
+ Lead regulatory safety and compliance activities, including driver and operator orientation, compliance reports, equipment maintenance and records and safety training.
+ Analyze transportation and distribution systems and procedures to ensure efficient and economical delivery.
+ Negotiate with 3 external vendors.
+ Other duties as assigned
+ Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
+ Minimum requirement of 10 years relevant work experience and minimum of 3 years of experience as a supervisor.
