As the Lead Instrumentation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and arranging electrical systems for Compressors and Gas/Steam Turbine applications. This position offers an opportunity to work with advanced technology, contributing to company profitability and productivity. Your responsibilities will include integrating cost-effective solutions into your designs.
As a Lead Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Applying sound engineering principles to execute designs on assigned projects, adhering to Baker Hughes standards.Selecting and sizing instrumentation for industrial applications, ensuring compliance with international design standards and regulatory requirements.Collaborating closely with all project stakeholders to deliver high-quality, optimal instrumentation designs that meet customer contractual requirements.Providing technical leadership on assigned projects.Producing all sensing and instrumentation deliverables, encompassing both basic and detailed engineering, for assigned projects.Participating in client discussions and project review meetings, demonstrating ownership of the instrumentation design for the safe and reliable operation of rotating equipment.Utilising 3d software to review instrumentation loop arrangements based on installation conditions.Designing and configuring SMART instrumentation to mitigate susceptibility to electric and electromagnetic noise.Optimising electrical installations to standardise solutions in collaboration with the Manufacturing department.
