Lead, Market Access Forecasting and Analytics – Payer and Patient Services

The Payer and Patient Market Access Forecasting and Analytics Lead will leverage data across multiple sources to create analyses, synthesize results into actionable insights, and communicate the business impact to cross-functional stakeholders to shape Market Access strategies and enable Market Access field teams. Main activities include gross to net forecasting and post deal analytics, strategic thought partnership, tracking and advising on market access oncology performance, and developing automated reporting to support market access field teams. 

Keys to success in this position include analytical thinking, understanding business implications, consultative and influencing skills, as well as strong communication skills.  This is a highly visible role within the organization and will collaborate closely with Payer Marketing, Market Access Account Directors, Contract Operations, Finance, Global Forecasting, and brand teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Oncology therapeutic area as well as market access experience in the buy and bill and oral spaces.

Lead Oncology Market Access GTN and ASP forecasting for annual and long-range forecasting cycles in collaboration with Oncology brand forecasting and finance teams

•           Effectively triangulate data sources and collaborate with Market Access stakeholders to develop and pressure test assumptions; able to explain assumptions and rationale to key stakeholders

•           Support Global Oncology Market Access team with pre-launch GTN, pricing, contracting, and distribution assumptions for late-stage assets

•           Own and develop Market Access Oncology KPIs, identify appropriate data sources, and lead tracking and reporting to cross functional stakeholders

•           Develop analyses from multiple sources and communicate output into clear concise insights and recommendations to Market Access field teams and senior leadership for decision making and strategy development

•           Provide thought partnership in the evaluation of key business implications, strategic alternatives, tactical options, risks, and opportunities for key brand and late-stage pipeline assets

•           Partner in the creation of automated reporting to enable field team account planning and performance tracking

•           Ability to work in a deadline-driven and fast-paced multi-tasking environment including managing multiple projects and analyses with on time completion

•           Showcase consulting skills, including listening, problem definition, hypothesis generation, data analysis, translation to value, and oral and written presentation for strong business impact and value-add

•           Identify business needs proactively and build analysis to mitigate risk and improve results

Essential:

•           BS/BA degree; preferably advanced degree in a relevant field (MBA, Masters, PhD)

•           5+ years of pharmaceutical experience – Oncology experience preferred

Desired:

•           Market Access experience strongly preferred

•           Proficiency in knowledge in the reimbursement and access as well as key Oncology stakeholders

•           Familiarity with data sources (e.g., IQVIA, 867 reports, DRG, SSR, etc.) and understanding limitations of data

•           Strong modeling and forecasting experience

Demonstrated ability to lead with humility, courage, urgency, and integrity

•           High self-awareness and political acuity

•           Strong critical thinking skills

•           Outstanding oral and written communication skills

•           Advanced business acumen and analytical thinking skills; expert proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$153,600.00 - $241,340.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives.
