About the job

Key Dimensions:

Launch Lead holds a pivotal position in pre and post-launch activities of the Brand to establish a strong market presence and driving growth. This role demands cross-functional collaboration, deep understanding of diverse healthcare systems, and the agility to adapt strategies to suit various market needs and regulatory conditions.

Main responsibilities:

Launch Strategy and Planning: Creating the local strategy for the launch, implementing the launch excellence framework at a local level to ensure timely and successful preparation and execution of the local launch plan in pre-launch phase.

Strategic Brand Management: Leading the launch plan process with a transversal approach focusing specifically on meeting the needs of healthcare professionals and patients, adapting to the competitive and environmental landscape, and leveraging segmentation and targeted communication to achieve strategic brand objectives, ensuring the brand’s value proposition is clearly communicated and understood.

Environmental and Competitive Analysis: Continuously monitor the healthcare environment and competitive landscape across different markets, adapting strategies to maintain competitive advantage and compliance with local regulations in post launch period.

Segmentation and Targeting: Lead the segmentation of the market and identification of key targets, deploying tailored strategies and messages to engage each segment effectively, with a focus on maximizing impact and brand loyalty. Craft compelling brand messages and identify key levers to influence target audiences.

Forecasting and Investment Synchronization: Ensure robust and adaptive forecasting process is in place with clarity on key assumptions. Engaging constant pressure testing and aligning investment planning by frequent resource evaluation.

Capability Building: Deploy a systematic approach to build and share capabilities through generations of launch efforts. Ensure know-how and best practice sharing across other countries.

Launch Process Management: Monitoring the progress of global, regional, and country activities against the launch plan and deploy remediation plans in cases of need. Monitoring the progress against objective external key performance indicators.

Leading Cross-Functional Teams: Leading cross-functional enablers (commercial, medical, PA&MA, regulatory etc.) empowered to adapt the launch plan when and as needed.

Shaping the External Environment: Ensure stakeholder engagement for provide advocacy, educate peers, and influence decision-making patterns.

Supply Chain and Issue Resolution: Work closely with supply chain and operational teams to forecast and address any product supply issues promptly, implementing solutions that minimize impact on customers.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

 

Graduate degree in business management, economics, engineering or related fields

At least 3 years of marketing experience in pharma sector, preferably in multinational companies with leading brands

 

Skills

Transversal leadership capabilities

Excellent planning and organizational skills, with a strong capacity to organize workload

Ability to lead, communicate and guide execution of the strategic direction for a project

Strategic thinking and strong business analytical abilities

Proven Project Management expertise working with cross-functional groups.

Medico-marketing expertise (launch background preferable)

A high sense of anticipation on market expectations and environmental changes.

Ability to challenge, influence and recommend alternatives.

Agility & resilience

Fluency in Turkish is a must as the role will interact with local stakeholders.

Fluent in English both written and spoken

Strong Communication Skills
