Our client, a leader in the chemical processing industry, is seeking a Lab Tech to join their team. As a Lab Tech, you will be part of the laboratory team supporting various analytical and physical testing functions. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lab Tech

Location: Lynwood, CA

Pay Range: $19-$24/hr

What's the Job?

Perform analytical and physical tests including corrosion testing, paint adhesion, and plating adhesion. Create and manage monthly lab orders for physical testing and track test performance. Prepare test reports outlining procedures and results of tests conducted. Communicate effectively with shop personnel regarding testing issues and operational concerns. Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

What's Needed?

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in chemical processing laboratories. Ability to operate laboratory equipment and perform various analytical tests. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in time management and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
