You will be working on the OTOS SW project, contributing to the design, development, testing and evolution of the products.

Our team is involved in the SW development for new line of products (OTOS) to address new requirements form the market. 

Your role will be contributing to development, maintenance and evolution of the SW in the Network Element in cooperation with other optics sites in Europe and North America, and in cooperation with our HW teams. 
Due this close teamwork with experts in this heterogeneous environment there are many opportunities to grow your knowledge, gain experience, and develop.

You have/you are: 

Knowledge of C++, C#, linux environment, and object-oriented modelling. A cooperative and team-oriented working style. Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
  Strong interest in embedded SW development (requirements analysis, design, unit testing). Strong interest in "out of the box" solutions and new technologies.
  Eager to learn. Great communication skill. A structured way of working with a desire to deliver high-quality work. Flexibility and ability or willingness to travel. Autonomous and proactive in taking responsibilities.
  German fluency is nice to have. You will be working Independently within broad guidelines and uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues. You will be working with substantial discretion and uses specialist knowledge, analytical skills, judgment and broad conceptual and practical experience to solve complex problems and to contribute to process improvements. You will analyze, designs, develops and tests products / services / improvements / bug resolutions for integrated hardware / software systems as per customers' requirements. You will resolve customer trouble tickets. You will diagnose complex problems / issues (EG hardware, software, combination) and provides resolution or recommend corrective actions.  You will develop SW / HW build-controlled productions releases (EG main and update releases, service packages, maintenance updates, and customer design engineering).  You will apply and maintain quality standards. You will also participate in process and tools evolutions and improvements. You will apply the SW Care process (especially emergency case handling) contributing when needed to the fastest problem restoration.
