Job DescriptionIf you are a qualified enthusiastic legal professional, you may be the expert we are looking for to join our dynamic team in Madrid, Spain. As a Junior Legal Counsel, you will work in close cooperation with PSI’s local and international legal and project teams to determine appropriate terms and conditions of contracts and to provide legal advice and support.
Office-based in Madrid, Spain
Your role will include:
Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts and other legal documents relating to clinical researchAdapting contract templates to the requirements of clients, hospitals and vendorsPreparing, reviewing and drafting corporate documents and other legal documents in English and SpanishProviding advice and support on compliance with clinical research legislation, company law, employment law, data protection and other legislation Researching and analyzing various legal mattersSupporting compliance with company policies, procedures and instructions relating to legal mattersProviding trainings to other PSI departmentsAssist in any other legal or administrative mattersQualificationsLaw degree, with sound knowledge of contract and corporate law. Specific knowledge on relevant laws and regulations pertaining to clinical trials will be valued.Fluency in Spanish and English, oral and writtenPortuguese will be considered as a plus but will not be an excluding factorA minimum of 2-4 years of experience in an international commercial legal practice (law firm or in-house position), ideally with exposure to the pharmaceutical sectorExcellent negotiation skillsAbility to work accurately with strong attention to detailExcellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skillsAbility to prioritize and work efficiently under tight deadlinesAbility to work independently but also within a teamProficiency in MS Word, intermediate proficiency in other standard MS Office applications Additional InformationAdvance your career in clinical research, coordinating a variety of tasks and learning new things while growing with a rapid growing company that puts its people first!
