**Overview**
The Junior Final Artwork Designer is a technical designer that collaborates with Art Directors, Project Management and Account Management to complete and deliver print & digital assignments from the creative handoff point through final release of files.
+ Able to lay out revisions to existing creative files and assist with comping creative concepts.
+ Manage projects and proofs in PM tools
+ Ability to create final templates for clients and internal presentations
+ Ability to analyze creative files to pinpoint, troubleshoot, and address any potential production red flags
+ Work with greater team to prepare files for release to vendors
+ Participate in reviewing final designs, layouts and versions to ensure the quality and accuracy of files before shipping to publications or vendors
+ Able to follow team protocol and best practices for organizing, archiving, updating files and creative assets
+ Prepare final press-ready files based on the supplied specifications
+ Package, preflight and press check files for release to printers or media partners
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred.
+ 2+ years of relevant experience in final artwork
+ Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite
+ Knowledge of Sketch, XD and Figma as well as digital (email/web) executional processes a plus
+ Portfolio of high-quality professional work and project samples
+ Demonstrated understanding of project management tools for production use
+ Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects at once
+ Ability to design for the digital space: social media apps, Facebook ads, and iMedia units
+ Understanding of all processes and quality control checkpoints from all departments
+ Understanding of how to prep digital files to hand off to vendor: optimizing image files, using proper color settings and using layer comps to prep files for vendors
+ Established understanding of graphic design basics, eye for design layout, working knowledge of color & fonts, detail oriented
+ Ability to sketch ideas, draw, or hand illustrate, and knowledge of iMovie, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects a plus
