Join us at razorfish.com. **Overview** We’re looking for a Jr. Art Direction, you will work to understand our client’s objectives, help shape the creative approach and work with the design team in overseeing the creative vision and execution of projects. This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in-office each week. If you are contacted for an interview, your recruiter will discuss specifics with you, inclusive of any necessary reasonable accommodations **Responsibilities** + Supports larger creative team in brainstorming sessions and concept creation. + Completes research projects and other day-to-day requests. + Use insights to tailor content that resonates with target demographics + Develop a variety of content formats - stills and video that live across all social (and digital) channels - with and without audio + Capture / Generate and edit creative assets (image & video) on a daily and weekly basis. The team will check in with the creative lead and larger team, get approval and be able to finesse and iterate. + Assists in asset creation and delivers work he or she is proud of. + Has a general knowledge of technology, user interface and visual design fundamentals. + Honing a strong, strategic sense to concept against creative briefs + Maintains high quality on creative deliverables. + Overall creative is on-brand but also inspires user engagement, wins affinity and is breakthrough and fresh. + Stay updated on industry and platform trends, competitor strategies, and audience behavior to inform content creation + Help develop creative content for digital and traditional media platforms. + Bring those ideas to life with teams and junior copy writer partners + Work with and learn from an Art Director and other craft experts + Track and report on campaign performance, suggesting optimizations. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Digital Media Design, or Advertising/Portfolio school + Internship or less than 1 year experience in an advertising or marketing agency + An engaging portfolio than demonstrates both conceptual ability and art direction craft and social content creation + Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (After effect, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Canva + General awareness and understanding of the digital landscape, including online campaigns, mobile experiences, and social media landscape. + Enthusiasm, big ideas and attention for details are welcome + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and innovation. + Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. + You are passionate about the creative world and love to stay on top of the latest trends, strategies, and technologies as well as how competitors within the industry are doing things + Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality work ***Please provide portfolio link and resume when applying*** **Additional information** The Power of One starts with our people! This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
