As an IT Risk Analyst within Allianz Services, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of the risk management framework by reviewing and consolidating IT risk-related information provided by the first line of defense, ensuring its integration into the Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) system. Based in Spain, you will collaborate with local and global teams to develop and maintain technology risk governance frameworks and support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational risks, while ensuring alignment with global standards.

 

 

What you do

 

Develop and maintain the local IT risk governance framework in line with group standards; manage the local IT Risk framework, coordinating with 1LoD and 2LoD standards. Review and update the 1LoD-owned technology risk-related corporate rulebook; maintain IT risk-related frameworks, including taxonomy, control objectives, and risk statements adapted to local operations. Oversee the local implementation of the ITRM framework and monitor 1LoD activities, including conducting control testing and scenario analyses to identify and mitigate risks. Facilitate decision-making by documenting, reporting, and addressing IT-related risks raised by the 1LoD, ensuring adequate risk management and reporting processes. Support the review of 1LoD risk activities, providing expert input on risk strategy and governance. Collaborate with local departments and stakeholders (Risk Owners, Process Owners, and Risk Experts) to ensure effective risk management processes. Prepare and present risk-related reports to local and global management, ensuring risks are identified, documented, and addressed; prepare reports and presentations for local risk management committees and the IT Risk Council.

 

What you bring

 

Degree in IT, Computer Science, Risk Management, Finance, Economics, or related fields; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus. 3-5 years in insurance, financial sectors, or relevant businesses, with experience in IT risk management and governance frameworks. Hands-on experience with IT risk policies, strategy development, control testing, scenario analysis, and risk reporting. Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., BaFin) is beneficial. Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills for consulting with 1LoD and collaborating internationally. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for IT risk identification and mitigation Ability to facilitate discussions, prepare reports, and present findings to management.
