Interning as a Communication Specialist, you will:

Support the communication of an analytical platform team, which enables analytics of the manufacturing processes across MSD, on a global scale.Get a chance to prepare and help drive various communication campaigns, as well as the brand positioning of the platform, helping us inform the users and stakeholders of our plans, initiatives, and new capabilities that enable over 900 individuals to drive innovation and deliver the best medication to our patients. 

What should you know / have:

At least minimal copywriting skillsFluent knowledge of EnglishKnowledge of graphic design applications (Adobe Suite) is a big advantage, but a sharp eye for design is a mustKnowledge of marketing or communication analytics is an advantageGood management of all the Microsoft Office tools (in particular PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word)Good understanding of branding principlesKnowledge of how to build a communication campaign 

What will you do/learn:

Prepare the visuals and creative assets for our regular and ad hoc communications, which include a newsletter, internal social media, Sharepoint site, and internal virtual or physical events (presentations, posters, trainings)Learn how to manage and streamline communication in an international organization, enabling both the team members and our users to receive all the relevant updates, at the right time and in the best shapeDevelop your communication management skills, and collaborate with the Business Analyst and Product Owner on making our product and its communication better, while delivering on its key objectives and growing the platform across the organization
