You will be responsible for providing value-adding services, primarily to EMEA Business Operations team and its stakeholders. You will manage and support IT Business Operations and financial management workload in line with internal governance and corporate policies.
Your Core Responsibilities
Provide PO management services from planning, creation, tracking to closing
Manage accruals, depreciation, amortization, and intercompany chargeback
Prepare COE financial data as inputs to forecast planning
Continuously monitor to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Support financial activities in the Hardware and Software Renewal space
Collaborate with IT business owners, Procurement, and Software Asset Management teams to support all financial operations involved in Hardware and Software purchasing
Report HW and SW spend and provide financial status updates in financial tools
Manage renewal and new requirements needed to process the right software and hardware purchases and their reporting
Identify areas to streamline and improve processes to eliminate waste (time/cost)
Provide regular and on-demand reports for financial management
Work in a networked organization in partnership with Business Management, Supplier Management, Procurement, and Finance to deliver on financial management objectives
Perform, adopt, and adjust processes supporting IT cost management
Interact with senior-level business executives and peers in the IT organization, regionally and globally
Build strong partnerships with IT leaders and counterparts in Finance, Procurement, and Software Asset Management
Manage communication and change management activities
Partner with peers in other business areas to identify and share best practices
Who You Are
You are ready if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
At least 5 years of relevant work experience
Demonstrate self-starting ability, able to multitask and work independently in a dynamic environment
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to conduct effective user trainings
Flexibility to interact globally in a matrix organization across time zones (Asia Pacific, Europe & US)
Passion for continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving skills
Ability to work well in a team environment and develop working relationships with IT functional areas to achieve cost controls, expense reductions, and optimization of financial resources
Strong decision-making capability and confidence to interact with and manage senior-level executives and stakeholders
Strong proficiency in SAP Financial systems with good finance/accounting acumen
Base knowledge of Financial Forecasting Process, Reporting, and Project/Portfolio Accounting
Sigma experience/certification is a plus
