**A Day in the Life**
Medtronic is seeking an experienced IT Applications Manager for Global Supply Management to provide strategic leadership and hands-on management across the development, design, and optimization of key information technology systems that support our core business processes and technology platforms.
This role involves overseeing the analysis, selection, and modification of enterprise systems and application software with a deeper emphasis on the portfolio management and execution of the applications, enhancements, resources, and outcomes needed to run a best-in-class application ecosystem .
The position requires subject matter expertise with Source to Pay (STP) business processes to address user group needs effectively and ensure practical application of system capabilities. Additionally, the role involves coordinating the delivery of IT services to ensure uninterrupted operations and managing a team by selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel to maintain high performance and operational efficiency.
This is a hybrid position based in Bogotá.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**
+ Communicate with internal and external customers and suppliers regarding ongoing operations, new requirements and systems, and overall KPIs and performance metrics.
+ Effectively structure, detail, and monitor the overall portfolio of programs, projects, and enhancements in flight to deliver on business benefits and outcomes
+ Manage internal and external teams of resources by balancing priorities, expectations, and solutions to effectively and efficiently deliver a positive applications experience
+ Uses information exchange, influence and active persuasion without direct exercise of command to gain cooperation of other parties and to listen effectively to customer pain points
+ Ensure infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility across the full ecosystem of applications in Global Supply Management
+ Coordinate the delivery of services to user groups and ensure IT service is uninterrupted.
+ Provide tactical and / or operational leadership and coaching.
+ Establish operational plans and implement policies and strategies.
+ Strive for continuous improvement and consistency in deliverables.
+ Propose modifications to functional operating policies and day-to-day processes.
+ Lead, direct and review the work of a team who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments.
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ Bachelor’s degree required.
+ Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics.
+ Proven experience managing IT application teams and large-scale enterprise systems, preferably in the areas of Source to Pay
+ Knowledge of Information Systems, Execution of Business Processes, Operational Planning, IT Service or Process Management, Metric and SLA Monitoring.
+ Management of People & Resources, Critical Thinking, Project Management, Collaboration and Productivity Software, Effective Communication.
+ Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
+ Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
+ Proficiency with multiple levels of enterprise applications supporting supply chain, is preferred.
