Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
The Deployment and Fulfillment Planning team is responsible for the optimal capacity planning and utilization of the North American distribution center (DC) network, enabling the organization to achieve commercial targets across all channels (Wholesale, Retail, eCommerce).
The team’s scope is end-to-end, from pre-season to in-season, overseeing the seasonal inventory deployment, fulfillment planning, and inventory health for all DCs.
The Inventory Analyst’s role is to manage the DC’s inventory health, drive actions, and improve processes to protect and enhance DC productivity and cost.
Some metrics under the Analyst’s responsibility are SKU count capacity, days of inventory, and no-movers. Other inventory metrics like aged inventory and small quantities are tracked and actioned in partnership with the Demand Planning team.
This role requires close collaboration with multiple teams, including DC Operations, Omni Inventory, Demand Planning, DTC Excellence (eCom + Retail), and Data & Analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Track inventory metrics and provide insights to stakeholders on the status of the inventory health, advocating for the DCs and the impact of inventory on DC productivity and business results. Draw attention to top no-movers, hash inventory, aged inventory, and DCs with increasing SKU count or increasing days of inventory nearing capacity, and drive initiatives to bring the inventory back to healthy levels. Collaborate with Omni Inventory team to incorporate data into their scheduled actions to sell and clear excess inventory from the network. Create, update, maintain, and publish accurate Power BI dashboards and other appropriate reporting to bring visibility on main inventory metrics to stakeholders and support effective decisions. Develop new inventory metrics as needed. Strive to continuously improve processes and system infrastructure to reduce costs and improve operations. Assist in defining and implementing the most effective inventory deployment strategy for all articles across North America to enable an optimal utilization of the DC network. Investigate, analyze, and ensure resolutions are reached in a timely manner on ad-hoc inventory topics. Support the project management team and IT team with data collection, analyses, recommendations, documentation, and testing for projects including but not limited to DC ramp-up, DC ramp-down, storage relief, and development of new processes. Drive initiatives to support product recalls and end of licenses that require scrapping and recycling inventory. Create documentation of your daily operations and processes and keep it up to date to provide transparency and enable decision-making. Help to onboard new team members, and seek support of your operations during absences.Key Relationships

College or university degree preferably with focus on Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Sales, or equivalent experience may be substituted for degree 1+ years of related work experience in international and/or cross-functional teams
