Job purpose/role:

As a member of our team at Allianz Investment Management SE you will analyse, monitor and help to steer the € 16bn investment portfolio of Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, the leading industrial property and casualty insurance company world-wide.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

As an intern, you will :

Have your own areas of responsibility, but also support investment managers in day-to-day investment decisions, ad hoc requests, and projects Contribute to investment analysis and decision proposals for the top management Support in monitoring of the investment portfolio and conduct performance calculation, analysis and attribution analysis Draft internal presentations and prepare reporting materials Further enhance analysis methods, tools and reporting standards Learn how to develop and implement the Strategic Asset Allocation based on Asset-/Liability-Management and ESG standards

 

Key requirements / Skills / Experience

 

You have completed your undergraduate studies in business administration, finance, economics or mathematics with solid credentials You have an inquisitive mind and you learn quickly You are interested in capital markets and investments. Fixed income know-how would be a plus  Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) Understanding basic concepts of programming (eg. VBA) would be a plus  Fluent in English, fluency in German would be a plus  We are looking for people with initiative who can work both independently as well as a part of a team within a very international and dynamic environment
