Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inspector - Wet Utilities to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of wet utility systems in construction projects throughout the city.

Conduct thorough inspections of wet utility systems, including water supply, sewage, and drainage installationsVerify compliance with local and international plumbing codes, regulations, and project specificationsReview and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications related to wet utility systemsIdentify and report deficiencies, non-conformities, or potential issues in wet utility installationsCollaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve technical issues and ensure project qualityPrepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation of findingsUtilize specialized inspection equipment and tools to assess the condition and performance of wet utility systemsStay updated on industry standards, technological advancements, and best practices in wet utility inspectionParticipate in project meetings and provide expert advice on wet utility-related mattersEnsure adherence to safety protocols and regulations during inspections

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of experience in wet utility inspection or a related fieldIn-depth knowledge of wet utility systems, including water supply, sewage, and drainage infrastructureProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specificationsStrong understanding of local and international plumbing codes and regulations, with specific knowledge of UAE building codes related to wet utilitiesCertified Plumbing Inspector certification or equivalent professional qualificationExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in using specialized inspection equipment and toolsComputer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with inspection softwareUnderstanding of construction processes and project management principlesAbility to work efficiently and remain organized in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to work on-site and travel to various project locations within Dubai
