Job Description

We are seeking experienced Irrigation Inspectors to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an Irrigation Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of irrigation systems in various projects throughout the region.

Conduct thorough inspections of irrigation systems to ensure compliance with contract specifications and local regulationsMonitor contractor activities and maintain detailed records of daily resources, including personnel and equipmentPerform site supervision and inspections as directed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE)Liaise with contractors to ensure proper resource management, health and safety compliance, and equipment utilization on-siteReview and familiarize yourself with project contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and safety measuresPrepare comprehensive daily reports for the RE or ARE, including work orders, material deliveries, and inspection programsImplement and monitor quality control and quality assurance procedures on-siteConduct site measurements and surveying checks for pipe alignments and levels as requiredCoordinate with client project managers during site inspections, in collaboration with the RE or AREAssist in resolving site issues promptly and efficientlyMonitor the start-up, commissioning, and handover of site works, maintaining records of project milestonesAudit inspections for conformity to contract documents and contractor-submitted plansStay updated on the latest irrigation technologies and best practices in the field

QualificationsMinimum of 10 years of experience in irrigation inspection or related projectsProven experience in construction supervision, particularly in irrigation systemsIn-depth knowledge of irrigation systems, technologies, and local regulations in the UAEStrong familiarity with project contract documents, detailed drawings, and specificationsProficiency in quality control and quality assurance proceduresExcellent site measurement and surveying skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and coordination skillsProficiency in relevant software for reporting and documentationAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentTechnical degree in Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related fieldMiddle East experience preferredAbility to work legally in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
