Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Electrical Inspector to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring electrical contractors comply with contract documents, coordinating with other teams, and verifying the quality and quantity of work performed.

Review and comprehend package contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measuresConduct site inspections to ensure contractors adhere to standards and specifications outlined in contract documentsPerform observations, measurements, and testing to track quality assurance progressMaintain accurate records of contractor manpower and equipment resources on a daily basisDocument contractor activities, including personnel, equipment, location, and methods utilizedMonitor material deliveries and implement site instructions as directed by leadershipApply and enforce quality control procedures and safety protocols on-sitePrepare site measurements and conduct surveying checks as requiredMonitor conformance to quality, performance, and code requirements through regular inspectionsReport on health and safety violations in construction worksCollaborate with other teams to process inspection requests and technical submittals efficiently

QualificationsDiploma in Engineering required; related degree in Engineering fields preferred for career progressionMinimum 7 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years of experience in the UAEProven experience in electrical-related projects and construction supervision with a consultancyIn-depth knowledge of electrical methodologies, installation processes, and Building CodesProficiency in using electrical inspection tools and equipmentFamiliarity with local and international electrical codes and standardsAbility to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematicsExperience in various building types, particularly horizontal development, mixed-use residential and commercial, retail, and hospitality projectsStrong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports in EnglishDetailed knowledge of construction techniques and quality control proceduresAnalytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify potential issuesEfficient and organized approach to managing multiple inspection tasks and prioritiesProficiency in using relevant software for documentation and reportingSafety-conscious with a high level of work ethic and the ability to work under pressureTeam player with strong problem-solving skills and professional judgment
