Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inspector civil to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an Inspector civil, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our major roads and infrastructure projects.

Conduct thorough site inspections and supervise roads and infrastructure works to ensure compliance with project specifications and contract documentsReview and familiarize yourself with project contracts, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measuresMonitor contractor compliance with standards and specifications outlined in contract documentsMaintain accurate records of contractor resources, including personnel and equipmentPrepare daily reports for the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE), including work orders, materials delivery, and inspection programsImplement and monitor quality control and quality assurance procedures on-sitePerform site measurements and surveying checks for pipe alignments and levels as requiredCoordinate with the client project manager during site inspectionsAssist in resolving site issues promptly in collaboration with the RE or AREMonitor the start-up, commissioning, and handover of site works, maintaining records of project milestonesConduct audits to ensure conformity with contract documents and contractor-submitted plansLiaise with contractors to ensure effective management of resources, health and safety, and equipment needs on-site

QualificationsBachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil EngineeringMinimum 5 years of experience in similar roads and infrastructure projects, with at least 3 years of experience in the UAE preferredIn-depth knowledge of construction processes, quality control, and safety standardsStrong familiarity with contract documents, detailed drawings, and project specificationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in relevant software, including AutoCAD and MS OfficeThorough understanding of local building codes and regulationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skillsRTA Approval is preferredExperience in site measurements and surveying checksKnowledge of quality assurance and quality control procedures in constructionAbility to prepare comprehensive daily reports and maintain accurate records
