Job Description
At AbbVie, as we advance our customer engagement model in our local organization, we are looking for talent to join our Canadian affiliate to elevate and maximize affiliate performance through Infield team (IFT) excellence models, tools and insights.
In this role as a cross-functional partner, you will be responsible for enhancing infield effectiveness and performance in the Canadian affiliate by identifying and leveraging data-driven insights, implementing capability enhancements and enabling select IFT planning & execution processes across the Infield teams. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams in Customer Excellence, Business Technology Solutions, Commercial Business Units as well as Medical & Market Access to ensure cohesive strategies and aligned implementations.
The incumbent will be based in Montreal and will report into the Lead, InField and Brand Excellence within the Customer Excellence division.
Major Responsibilities:
+ Data Analysis and Insight Generation:
+ Analyze comprehensive sales and market data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges impacting infield effectiveness.
+ Generate actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and drive performance improvement.
+ Develop and present regular analyses to commercial and sales leaders to support business objectives.
+ Performance Monitoring:
+ Inform and monitor performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of sales execution and initiatives.
+ Utilize performance data to identify areas of success and opportunities for process refinement.
+ Proactively recommend adjustments and improvements in execution based on performance analysis.
+ CRM System Optimization:
+ Contribute to the optimization and utilization of CRM systems to enhance data capture, accessibility, and user experience.
+ Propose initiatives to incorporate CRM-derived insights into field strategies, improving customer interactions and engagement.
+ Capability Enhancement Implementation:
+ Identify areas for capability enhancement within infield teams.
+ Liaise with global and local stakeholders to understand, reflect, and align Canadian needs into select global and area capability roadmaps
+ Collaborate to design and implement targeted programs
+ Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives, adjusting approaches as needed to maximize impact
+ Process Improvement:
+ Contribute efforts to streamline sales related processes and workflows, focusing on increasing efficiency and effectiveness.
+ Coordinate the integration of the Multi-Channel Cycle Plan to leverage diverse communication channels and maximize reach.
+ Champion continuous improvement by implementing best practices and developing innovative solutions
+ Cross Functional Alignment
+ Partner with Medical Excellence and Market Access Excellence to maximize alignment and approach for common areas of focus within affiliate priorities
Qualifications
Qualifications:
+ 3-5 years relevant business experience
+ Commercial roles within the pharmaceutical industry are a strong asset
+ 1-3 years experience with sales operations and/or commercial data & analytics
+ Experience leveraging and/or managing field capabilities such as CRMs & other tools
+ Demonstrated analytical skills with ability to translate data to insights
+ Experience with industry data sets (such as IQVIA among others) is a strong asset
+ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting
+ Ability to establish mutually productive, positive, and collaborative internal relationships
+ High quality standards, with attention to detail
+ Technically savvy / proficient in adopting new technologies such as data analytics & visualization, CRM, AI/ML etc.
+ Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Loop. Co-Pilot, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
+ Advanced proficiency in Excel required
+ Excellent communication skills in English and French (verbal and written)
+ Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Science, or Health Care. Degree in a related or equivalent field may also be considered
