Job Description

Job Summary

The Associate Director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) will lead and manage HEOR initiatives to support the development of products. This role involves designing and executing research studies that demonstrate the value of our products to payers, healthcare providers, and patients. The Associate Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical development, market access, and commercial teams, to ensure alignment of HEOR strategies with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Research Design and Execution:Develop and implement HEOR strategies and research plans to support product value propositions.Design and conduct health economic modeling, cost-effectiveness analyses, and real-world evidence studies.Oversee the development of study protocols, data collection, and analysis.Data Analysis and Interpretation:Analyze and interpret health economic data to derive insights that inform decision-making.Prepare and present findings to internal stakeholders and external audiences, including payers and regulatory bodies.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams to integrate HEOR insights into product development and market access strategies.Provide HEOR expertise to support product launches and reimbursement submissions.Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), payers, and other stakeholders to advocate for the value of our products.Represent the HEOR function at conferences, meetings, and other external engagements.Team Leadership and Development:Mentor and develop junior HEOR staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Lead project teams to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

Education:Master’s degree or PhD in Health Economics, Public Health, Pharmacy, or a related field.Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in HEOR, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.Proven track record of leading HEOR projects and delivering actionable insights.Skills:Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, Stata).Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.Strong project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with real-world evidence generation and health technology assessment (HTA) submissions.Familiarity with payer landscape and reimbursement processesenglish fluentPricing negotiation
