That means you will ensure that facilities provided are well maintained, regulation/procedure are in place and implemented, hazards/aspects assessments are conducted, the accident both caused by unsafe acts and conditions are reduced and energy and waste are driven down.

How you will contribute

You will:

Assist and lead the cultural transformation regarding HSE to help lead plant to achieve Zero accidents and IncidentsBe responsible for coordinating and overseeing implementation of all Health & Safety programs and processesParticipate in investigations to facilitate closure of identified non-conformancesProvide Health and Safety expertise for the plant for all new projects and change management activitiesFollow up on non-conformances and develops the systems to resolve them based on root cause analysisMaintain an up-to-date incident reporting system, assist with investigating incidents in conjunction with the HSE Pillar team/safety committee and drive the completion of corrective actions to eliminate root causes/reoccurrenceDevelop technical guidance programs to identify and remove physical hazards`

Experience in Environmental Health and SafetyMust have completed Environmental Health and Safety training in areas such as OSHA, EPA.Experience in safety, and/or environmental technical standardsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with individuals at all levelsUnderstanding and knowledge of regulatory reports and compliances including experience with ISO

Responsibilities:

Support a culture that is aligned with Mondelez goals and objectives of the plantSupport improvement in HSE results and processes resulting in reduction of injuries, and the identification of hazards in the workplaceAssist in coordinating HSE compliance and risk assessment activities through functional teamsParticipate in and/or provide information to others conducting HSE inspections, HSE audits, and incident investigationsDevelop HSE communication materials for the plant and coordinate engagement activitiesDevelop, coordinate and deliver HSE training programsCreate Purchase Orders and other administrative tasks as requiredSchedule and participate in HSE meetings (JHSC, standard governance, HSE pillar, DMS, etc.) and follow up on actions to completionConduct data collection, reporting and trends analysis on HSE metrics (incidents, inspections, environmental data, etc.)

 

Qualifications:

Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with individuals at all levelsStrong multi-tasking and time management skills to meet deadlinesComputer proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software programsAbility to work independently and as a team

Education / Certifications:

Post-secondary education in Health, Safety, Environmental, Engineering, or a related field2-4 years of health, safety environmental experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
