Head of Digital Health Solutions Asia Pacific

Primary Objective of Position

The role leads the commercial team for the Digital Health Solution Business. The role involves building a clear strategy to profitably grow market share and revenue, meeting or exceeding plan commitments, and collaborating with other functions.

Major Accountabilities

Manage P&L of $9 million, ensuring business functions drive operational efficiencies and improve Gross Margin & Division Margin to meet financial targets.Develop and execute an annual strategic plan to meet sales and margin commitments.Lead an area organization of direct reports plus dotted line support; ensure the team is equipped with appropriate training and resources for success.Identify customer needs and support the team in demonstrating the value of informatics products and services.Create demand by identifying new customer-centric products and solutions with the potential to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.Collaborate with other functions to evaluate the value and feasibility of introducing new or customized products and services.Engage regularly with cross-functional leadership to ensure effective relationships between regions and alignment on priorities for dotted line support.Join team members for field travel regularly to assess business opportunities, build customer relationships, and provide coaching to all employees.Develop a high-performance organization by acquiring, developing, and retaining top talent; drive a culture of continuous improvement, creativity, and accountability.

Education

Bachelor’s degree is required; master’s degree preferred.

Background

Experience leading and executing complex (multi-stakeholder/multi-year) contract negotiations.Advanced knowledge of the digital health market in APAC, with a fundamental understanding of digital solutions and communication concepts between lab middleware, LIMS and EMR.Expert level in process workflow for in-lab process communication interfaces.Preferable experience in ROI development for Medical SaaS Products.10+ years in leadership roles in the digital health market with a demonstrated ability to align and integrate diverse business teams and functions to ensure they work together to deliver results.Proven track record in gaining market share, growing the market, and/or renewing/defending existing business.Sales experience in the Diagnostic industry.Expert knowledge in developing SaaS contracts and billing models, including ROI business cases for the digital health market.
