Nokia's Cloud and Network Services (CNS) business group is building out a suite of products and capabilities that drive our Autonomous Networks vision. We are creating a data fabric that brings together all the information that we gather from telecom networks with the goal of feeding intelligent decision making for autonomous operations. The Head of Autonomous Network Fabric Engineering will own and drive all aspects of engineering for the Autonomous Network Fabric (ANF), a set of SaaS as well as on-premises services and data technologies operating at petabyte scale. AI/ML-based intelligence is a key component of this system.

A Bachelor's  degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field15+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles with at least 7 of those in senior engineering managementExperience managing a globally distributed and diverse engineering organization4+ years leading engineering for data at scale including AI/ML systems4+ years leading in a SaaS context, preferably in a data-intensive environment4+ years engineering products for on-premises deliveryDeep understanding of cloud technologies, including relevant experience with at least one hyperscalerGood understanding of agile methodologies and the use of processes to drive efficient executionStrong inter-personal skills, a demonstrated history of nurturing and growing engineers and leadersTelecom industry experience and knowledge of telecom technologies is a plus, but not required Own and drive the activities of an Agile Release Train (ART) tasked with designing and building out the ANF platform and data fabric Work with other engineering teams within the business group to onboard existing as well as new data-intensive applications and capabilities on to the ANF platform Interface with internal platform engineering teams and with research groups to leverage existing as well as evolving technologies Work with Release Management to adapt and evolve processes and practices needed for the successful and timely delivery of the application suite in multiple footprint variants Implement modern engineering practices, including an agile, SaaS-first mindset and a strong focus on automation Staff up engineering teams with the necessary skills needed for architecting, implementing and maintaining the ANF platform Work with Nokia partners to drive platform integrations and delivery models needed to best serve our joint customers Work directly with Nokia customers and design partners to align on platform requirements
