Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech The Global Supply Network Senior Analyst is responsible for managing plans and controls inventory of finished goods for sales warehouses, distribution centers, and factors mixing points to meet sales and distribution demand. Analyzes inventory levels, inventory positioning and production and sales forecasts. Other responsibilities include business planning, coordinating the Global Inventory Strategy and planning activities all aiming to deliver on key performance indicators including OTIF and inventory. Responsibilities: + Plans inventory per the sales forecast, to meet both customer service and inventory targets. + Recommends improvement to inventory system where errors could affect the replenishment systems, financial position, credibility, or overall operation. Updates inventory records. Controls inventory accuracy and controls inventory levels by changing reorder points and par levels to meet changing demands. + Identifies gaps between latest financial plan and demand plan across segment and region and escalates for appropriate resolution. + Monitors and implements actions towards driving balanced score card improvements. + Maintains interactions with global partners cross/franchise sector as appropriate. + Develops contingency plan for response to sales/inventory changes. + Executes processes on defined drumbeat including manage business rules and planning parameters (including safety stocks and inventory targets), transportation lanes, replenishment methods, and process tolerance and triggers to enable an input driven E2E Planning process. Ensures these parameters are updated in the appropriate business systems. + Leads cross functional-segment special projects & events for continuous improvement. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree is required. Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Materials Management or Engineering is preferred. + A minimum of 2 years of related work experience is required. + Supply chain experience in the medical device, consumer or pharmaceutical preferred. Hands on working experience with inventory / planning/order management / MRP systems / financials preferred. + Experience with ERP (SAP/APO/SNP) & Advanced Planning Systems (OMP) is preferred. + Understanding of End-to-End supply chain interactions and interdependencies. + Strong analytical, problem solving, and reasoning skills / Master complexity / Organizational skills. + Ability for decision making, applied Emotional Intelligence to work under time pressure, and capacity to make good judgement on special situations. Accuracy and prioritization in a fast-paced environment. + Skills in planning processes and inventory management, proactive approach to continuous improvement. + Strong communication skills (verbal, reading, and written). + Ability to apply project and personal leadership to successfully achieve project, team and individual goals. + Ability to share knowledge and personal experience with peers. Coach others when appropriate. + Ability to build strong collaborative relationships, considering diverse perspectives and styles. + Ability to target their communications as appropriate for the audience and make presentations to a small to medium sized audience. + The ability to influence others in a matrix environment. + Ability to challenge the status quo and evaluate processes to determine if refinements would enhance speed of results and productivity or quality &/or Ability to work with Continuous Improvement tools. + Ability to extract the knowledge and insights from data and effectively share with demand planners. + Ability to work with multiple scenarios, identify costs/benefit trade-offs and make recommendations supported on data and insights. + Understands forecasting techniques. + Has knowledge of statistics, machine learning, data mining and predictive analytics. + Proficient in MS office programs: Word, Excel, Power Point, Project Planning, E-mail, Flow Charts and management of database tools. + Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications preferred. + Process Excellence & CPIM (Certified in Production & Inventory Management / IBF) Certifications preferred.
