Job role

 

The Global Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Officer steers and coordinates all OH&S related topics as defined in the Allianz Services P&R Global Implementation Guideline of all Allianz Services locations.

 

What will you do

 

     Establish and monitor and integrated global OH&S management system aligned with ISO 45001:2018, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement      Leading all OH&S related topics and support local stakeholders to identify the right programs and solutions (internal or external);      Develop and monitor the execution of global OH&S strategies, achieving safety and compliance objectives across all Allianz Services locations      Implementation and coordination of process requirements;      Review of action plans to ensure adequate implementation;      Participation in results reporting to the Global Safeguarding Function;      Document the approach for continuous improvement of OH&S matters, including conducting internal audits if necessary;      Close collaboration with Legal, Compliance, Resilience, Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, and any other relevant departments to ensure implementation of the defined minimum requirements;      Recording and formulating corrective plans for any non-conformities or gaps;      Responsible for the training and documentation of the emergency prevention and response team;

What you bring

 

     Bachelor’s degree (any discipline, related field preferred)       5 years’ experience in OH&S areas, preferably across business units and geographies;      System management certifications (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001)      International certifications in Health and Safety NEBOSH/IOSH      Internal auditor for system management certification would be an advantage      Ability to multitask and coordinate among functions and jobs;      Fluency in written, speaking and understanding English;      German is a plus;      Travel availability ~30% from the working time.

 

You have

 

An excellent understanding of OH&S framework;      Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills;      Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey OH&S issues effectively;       Microsoft Office tool skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
