About the Job
This role is responsible for building and driving the global commercial strategy for GI portfolio assets. The role’s primary responsibility will be to lead development and execution of an innovative, global commercial strategy for multiple GI assets, including portfolio positioning, HCP launch strategy, competitive positioning, market development and go to market planning in collaboration with local teams. The role reports to the Global TA Lead for GI.

Main Responsibilities:
Create and lead the commercial strategy for GI portfolio assets, including HCP market development, KOL engagement and competitive differentiation.
Develop key market insights and ensure portfolio assets are optimized through a deep understanding of the GI market. Includes developed indications (e.g. IBD) and unmet needs in new GI indications.
Seamlessly collaborate with commercial and R&D cross-functional partners, including the Global Project Teams (GPTs), Global Project Heads (GPHs) and contribute as needed to team deliverables.
Represent commercial TA in asset governance as necessary to accelerate development.
Build and persuasively communicate asset business cases, including forecasts and assumptions, commercialization strategy and growth opportunities to gain resources and commitment for asset development
Responsible for the successful development and execution of a global market development strategies, including engagement with key local markets.
Engage with local markets to ensure assets profile meet unmet needs and asset strategies balance global and local needs and requirements.
Manage annual budgets, ensuring strategic allocation of funds and monthly tracking
Maintain connectivity to innovative external vendors and lead ongoing management of advertising agency partners and other vendors to ensure execution of objectives.
About You
Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in life sciences, marketing or business required
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in product/brand management, sales management and/or strategic marketing
Experience in U.S. or international marketing (non-U.S.) within a global commercial pharmaceutical or biotechnology organization
Strong HCP marketing background with expertise in execution across all channels
In-depth understanding of the GI market, and external expert network is preferred
Product pre-launch/launch experience in specialty care
Experience collaborating with cross-functional groups, includingMarketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Research, Finance, Forecasting, Development
Comfortable leading in a matrix environment without direct authority
Line management/team leadership experience is preferred
Proven ability to work across different countries and different cultures
Experience managing multiple vendor and agency partners and related budgets

The salary range for this position is:
$172,500.00 - $249,166.66All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
