Global Card Administration Senior Specialist

Job Description

The Global Card Administrator Senior Specialist is accountable for the delivery and execution of Card Administration processes across all markets supported by Global Business Services centers globally. They must ensure high-quality standards are maintained, aligned with key objectives and agreed service levels. 

Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Responsible for administration of the company’s corporate card program globally:

Manages the card program to maintain current accounts, coordinating with the Card Provider, Card Holder, and Key Stakeholders. 

Coordinates requests to initiate, cancel, or modify card accounts

Reviews individual credit limits, and drafts requests to increase those limits to the Card Program Owner.

Facilitates the monitoring of accounts where cards were cancelled due to delinquency, including coordination with the Card Provider, Card Holder, and/or Key Stakeholders. 

Manages, tracks and report on the progress and development of new and/or existing Card Administrators including ongoing training as required

Provides standard and ad-hoc reporting to department and corporate management regarding the status of individual accounts and general program performance measures.

Possesses knowledge of various Card Programs (such as T&E, Procurement Cards, Meeting Cards, Virtual Cards, etc.) and their applications, which facilitates the capability to handle daily inquiries and escalations related to Cards, Payments, and Expenses. Additionally, offers expertise in managing Merchant Category Code (MCC) declines, ensuring appropriate measures are taken to resolve issues and maintain smooth transactions.

Work closely & diligently with Global Process Owners (GPO) in delivering efficiency & effectiveness for the Card Administration processes through standardization, simplifications, and streamlining. Active participation in global and regional initiatives.

Offer feedback for reviewing, validating, and updating work instructions (WI) and controls to align with current practices. Continuously update process documentation and understand global card administration procedures and policies.

Assist in internal/external audits to ensure all appropriate controls are being followed

Develop a good understanding of the overall Finance organization and broader company business; build and develop network and partnerships with key Finance and business leaders across our company.

Understand the functionality, interfaces, and interdependencies of our company financial processes and systems.

Offer subject matter expertise in Card Administration, guiding the team in best practices and compliance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Procurement.

Minimum of 6 years of Credit Card Management experience, or Shared Services or Procurement experience required

Experience with corporate payment systems (Visa, MasterCard, AmEx) and various Card Programs (T&E, Procurement Cards, Meeting Cards, Virtual Cards etc.).

Advanced understanding of Expense Systems (i.e. Concur Expense, etc.) skills on Bookkeeping and Accounting and/or business data analytics.

Advanced Excel is preferred.

Language requirements: Able to speak, read & write in English.

Experience in a global environment setup.
