**Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQLRPGLE Python IT Service Management Synon DB2/400 and CLP along with domain experience in Advent Geneva. This role is based in our office and operates during day shifts. No travel is required. **Responsibilities** + Develop and maintain software applications using SQLRPGLE Python Synon and CLP. + Ensure the integrity and performance of the DB2/400 database. + Implement IT Service Management practices to enhance service delivery. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements. + Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software applications. + Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. + Participate in the full software development lifecycle including design development testing and deployment. + Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance and maintainability. + Document software designs code and processes for future reference. + Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the companys software remains competitive. + Work closely with the Advent Geneva domain to ensure seamless integration and functionality. + Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies. + Ensure all software solutions align with the companys goals and objectives. **Qualifications** + Possess strong technical skills in SQLRPGLE Python Synon DB2/400 and CLP. + Demonstrate experience in IT Service Management and its application in software development. + Have domain expertise in Advent Geneva ensuring effective integration and functionality. + Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. + Show proficiency in database management and optimization. + Display strong communication and collaboration abilities. + Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies. **Certifications Required** Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) ITIL Foundation Certification Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity, champions equity and values inclusion.
