The ideal candidate will be adept at shooting high-quality content using both iPhone and DSLR cameras, with a mastery of lighting techniques. Bonus if they have experience in video editing and photo retouching to ensure that the final product meets our brand standards. **Responsibilities** **Who You Are** + You’re obsessed with internet culture, the latest memes and trends, online subcultures and communities. + You’re excited and inspired by the world of social media - you understand how to shoot for social, can create both loft/native content but also high polish brand content. + You have experience in photography, video production (bonus if you can edit) for social media. + You have on-set experience and understand the pace it takes to get things done on time. + You have an intimate understanding of DSLR camera and iPhone settings for various environments and lighting + You’re proficient in file organization/uploading/exporting + You’re a master of both natural and studio lighting + You’re a storyteller who can make captivating, conceptual content across all platforms that range from educational to emotional and everything in between. + Hands on, get it done, make cool sh*t mentality. + Collaborative, communicative, and a team player. **Qualifications** **Qualifications** + 5-7 years of experience in photography or video content creation for social media at a consumer-facing brand or agency or similar experience. + Strong understanding of opportunities and limitations of all popular social platforms. + Keen eye for design/art direction/leveraging props and styling. + Experience creating various types of content from product shots to storytelling. + Experience shooting and lighting video content and still photography. + Proficiency with photography and editing programs both in app and external (e.g., Photoshop, Premier Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Capture One etc) + Comfortable in a fast-paced team environment, coordinating multiple projects simultaneously with hard deadlines. + Demonstrated ability in adapting brand voices and visual identities to videos. + Ability to manage projects from ideation to production, through post-production and delivery. + Good presentation skills. + Excellent communication and collaboration skills. + Strong attention to detail. + Portfolio of your work to share.
