What you will do
As the Finance Manager, FP&A – Vocera, you will play a key role in shaping the financial future of the Vocera GQO and Commercial businesses. You’ll lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting efforts, providing critical insights that drive strategic decisions and support business growth. Lead the budget and subsequent mid-year projection processes, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure plan alignment with the business’ strategic goals and financial commitments.
Analyze financial performance and connect results to business activity, identify key trends, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to support business growth and profitability for the Division.
Represent Finance in the integrated business planning process with focus on demand planning reconciliation with financial goals, product life cycle management, and efficient inventory management and related profit implications.
Manage the Sales Commissions process, including monthly commission payments and related bonuses.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline core financial operations including AP, AR, and monthly close.
Help lead the finance workstream of Vocera’s near-term ERP integration to SAP.
Run the talent offense: attract, develop, engage, and align employees. This includes setting clear and meaningful goals, establishing and sharing expectations, and delivering frequent performance feedback for one direct report and one indirect report.
What you need:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
8+ years of finance or accounting experience
Preferred:
2+ years of people management experience.
Additional qualifications (CPA, CMA, MBA, etc.).
The ideal candidate would be a commutable distance to our Portage, MI office.
