Summary:
Engineering Finance representative who will consolidate the expense of the various Engineering cost centers. This person will be responsible for the BBP / FCST preparation and capable to understand the variations along the year.
Margin Improvement calculation is also part for the function. The result is monthly reported to the NA Finance dept, NA Eng Director and Global Eng. core team.
Due to the visibility of the results, this position requires good communication and strong analytical skills .
Responsibilities:
Lead team member to prepare the BBP/Forecast for AE in MexicoAnalyze forecast results and report significant variationsDefine expenditure trends to predict future expenditureStrong interface with IT team to obtain monthly Margin Improvement data from ECM and E-Change.Consolidate Margin improvement data, and after deep analysis, prepare report monthly.Clarify inconsistencies with the involved departments like: Sales, AE, ME and FinanceOther occasional activities like:IT mobile device: manage expenses, make the orders/changes, review, cancels, etc & clarify any issue about it.Coordinate computers orders when are through projects.e-Catalog purchasing: Process end to finish.account number / CC for any request: cross charge, company card, expense report, etc.Xerox: invoices received, delivery to the S&R area for its payment / review any issue.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Engineering with Financial Background5+ years of experience in similar positionDemonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, etc.)Proficiency in English and SpanishAdvanced Excel proficiencyAbility to work effectively with people at all levels in an organizationStrong results-orientation and execution characteristicsExcellent oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to work with a teamAbility to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independentlyNice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications):
