Position Overview:
Join Epredia as a Field Service Engineer and help us deliver exceptional support to our customers. You’ll play a key role in installing, maintaining, and repairing our equipment, ensuring high customer satisfaction and contributing to service revenue and efficiency goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installations, repairs, maintenance, and qualifications of Epredia instruments.Provide remote and on-site technical support to ensure customer success.Promote Epredia’s Digital Pathology and Support Solutions.Build strong relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.Manage company assets, including inventory, tools, and documentation.Coordinate service schedules with internal teams (Sales, Applications, Dispatch).Submit accurate, timely reports (service reports, expenses, etc.).Align on-site activities with broader company goals and keep stakeholders informed.Who You Are:
Strong problem-solver with experience working on optical devices and microscopes.Able to read mechanical/electrical schematics.Solid IT skills: Windows, network basics (firewalls, routers, switches), backups/restores, hardware swaps.Bonus: Knowledge of network security, domain controllers, IIS, PostgreSQL.Effective communicator with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to prioritize multiple tasks.Willing to travel extensively (up to 80%) within your region and across Europe/EMEA, with occasional global travel.Comfortable working in clinical/laboratory environments with potential exposure to chemicals and human tissues (no direct contact).Passionate about making a difference in healthcare.Qualifications and Skills:
