Fpr our Vascular Division, we are recruiting an experienced **EMEA Field Service Engineer with main responsibilities to Nordic Countries** to be responsible for the installation, upgrade, repair and preventative maintenance of Vascular capital equipment. Working closely with the central dispatch team as well as sales/clinical colleagues, the Field Service Engineer will be responsible for driving customer satisfaction through service excellence.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Hardware/software field support: includes system installation, maintenance, calibration, upgrades, troubleshooting and repair, also includes demo system maintenance and preparation for congresses
+ Document field service interventions per QA system requirements
+ Report capital equipment incidents per QA system requirements
+ Provide support and technical assistance for in-house training courses and congresses
+ Provide system maintenance and troubleshooting training to customer biomedical engineering departments and Abbott sales and field clinical staff
+ Extensive national and international travel required based as per business need
Key Requirements:
+ A Bachelors degree in electronics, engineering or similar is preferred, but relevant experience considered
+ Prior experience in medical electronics service or related field service is required (medical devices/software based medical systems would be advantageous)
+ Strong electronic and mechanical engineering skills including troubleshooting
+ Computer skills: MS Office, Linux
+ Familiarity with Cathlab/operating room procedures/protocols would be advantageous
+ Willingness to be flexible, respond at short notice to scheduling requirements, work with autonomy in a fast-paced environment
+ Fluent in English
+ Flexibility to travel extensively within the region
