Field Operator has responsibility for operating equipment and/or machinery. Duties may involve some technical elements but primarily focused on running equipment/ machinery/ systems. Role is hands-on and directly manipulates the equipment, machinery or system, requiring precise instrumentation/ operation. Acts at field operations as an effective member of a field crew, supporting the delivery under supervision of a Field Engineer or Field Specialist.
0-1 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. High School Diploma. Perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and monitoring of equipment. Must be comfortable working on 12hours rotational basis, day/ night. Critical thinking, active learning & listening, complex problem solving. Good reading and writing skills, strong judgment and decision-making to be in line with policies & procedures. Quality Control Analysis to ensure the product meets required standards. Capable to meet the physical demands that the role requires. Ability to react effectively and efficiently in operating tools and machinery. Performance of function checks TRS Equipment against specified Work Instructions. Rig up, operation and rig down of TRS Equipment following Work Instructions and procedures. Service and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic and electronic components of TRS equipment as applicable to business segment. Housekeeping/maintenance duties in a safe manner as directed by supervisor. Responsible for the upkeep of own training and competency portfolio. Report all hazards and unsafe acts.
