A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical technician on our Upper Hutt Site. This position will be part of the Maintenance team and Participate in the on-call schedule. The Engineering Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance Manager.

What you will do:

Perform and document maintenance tasks.Fix equipment problems quickly.Help with complex equipment issues.Do scheduled maintenance.Plan tasks with the scheduler.Fill out documents accurately.Support other technicians.Suggest improvements.Fix equipment breakdowns.Troubleshoot equipment and processes.Keep work areas clean.

What You Must have

Hands-on equipment experience.Mechanical skills or Trade background is preferred.Skills in welding, pneumatics, and hydraulics.Experience with GMP/GLP or ISO 9000 is a plus but not required.Basic computer skills are helpful.
