You will develop all necessary skills to kickstart a career in the Service division in ABB Belgium.As a trainee you will be a part of community, and you will participate in activities with other trainees like taking parts in trainings to enhance soft & technical skills, meeting project deadlines, and engaging in diverse social and team-building activities to expand your network within ABB.In this role, you will have the opportunity to support ABB’s businesses, collaborate with different leaders and teams, and contribute to the company's strategic objectives. Each day, you will gain knowledge by performing tasks as directed by your leader. You will also aspire to achieve your career goals by participating in professional development.Start date of the program is October, 2025.You will be mainly accountable for one or more of thise activities:•\tFormulating competitive bids/estimates/quotations, considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial considerations for each individual situation.•\tAssisting, sales, tendering and project managers in technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors and vendors.•\tCreating and delivering the work plan and budget, as well as risk assessments relevant to your engineering discipline.•\tCoordinating activities focused on customer acceptance (preparation, testing, faults analysis, implement changes).•\tProgramming and testing of protections systems.#LI-Hybrid
Qualifications for the roleYou are you almost finished with your degree in Electrical Engineering, but not quite sure which direction you want to go?You have Maximum three years of professional work experience?You have excellent knowledge of English and fluency in Dutch or FrenchExperience in operational excellence would be highly appreciatedFirst experience with installers, distributors, panel builders, system integrators and industrial customers is a plus but not mandatoryBeyond these requirements and preferences, we strongly value other skills including: a growth mindset focused on continual learning and improvement; strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
