Job Description

We offer you paid internship which is a part of a team responsible for the maintenance, development, and supervision of technical documentation for low-voltage switchgear and control equipment, such as contactors, motor protection circuit breakers, relays, and soft starters. You will report to Team Leader for Electronics and Embedded Software. You will be working onsite in Katowice, Rozdzienska.

Your Responsibilities:Developing skills in designing electrical schematics using the Mentor Xpedition environmentDeveloping skills in measuring electrical quantities using tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, etc.Familiarization with the process of creating technical documentation related to implementing changesFamiliarization with the change management process in the bill of materials using a distributed version control systemFamiliarization with the process of preparing a test setup for electrical testing in an environment simulating real-world operationFamiliarization with the process of conducting tests and measurements on a prepared test setup simulating device operation in real conditions or replicating conditions from a test plan

The Essentials - You Will Have:Final-year student in electronics, computer science, automation, or a related fieldProficiency in English (spoken and written)Ability to read technical drawings/electronic schematics

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:Basic knowledge of modeling and simulating electronic circuits (LTSpice, Tina TI)Familiarity with PCB design tools (Eagle, Altium Designer, KiCad, Mentor Expedition)Experience working with industrial automation systems (Contactors, Relays, Disconnectors, and PLCs)Experience in analog and digital electronics designExperience working with microcontrollers and knowledge of peripheral systems (I2C, UART, PWM, and ADCs)
