**Job title:** EHS Manager **Your role:** Manage the environmental, health and safety aspects for Philips Haifa site in compliance with local laws and company policies. **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Establish EHS strategic, tactical plans and operational objectives. Delegate assignments where appropriate to develop strategies that minimize risks and enable business objectives + Deploy Corporate Proactive H&S Management Approaches/Programs into the site such as “Philips Corporate Safety Standard”, “Behavior Based Safety”, “Safety Kaizen” + Develop, modify and execute EHS related policies, processes and standards that effect Philips Haifa site + Provide leadership for the site in relates to all EHS manuals, processes, procedures obligations by law, work instructions etc. + Manage strategic alignment, collaboration and coordination of EHS processes. Work with relevant functions to assure they implement and comply with regulations and internal WOW + Prepare and manage EHS AOP and budgets + Establishes effective systems, programs, support tools and business case recommendations to improve and maintain safety performance and compliance, conduct regular H&S compliance review to ensure the regulatory and company policy compliance + Prepare and cope with Philips Corporate H&S audit and external H&S audits; follow up on the corrective actions to ensure the on-time closure. + Leading safety officer and all EHS trusties in the site. Lead the factory safety committee and provide all information needed for its operating activities + Implement proactive risks assessment. Detecting safety and hygienic hazards + Ensure preparation of safety plan and updating as required at the organization regulations work supervision + Hold root-cause investigations in case of work accidents, deviations, occupational illness with the aim to draw a lesson, preparation of findings and offering the employer appropriate steps to avoid repeating such cases + Stand up to the Israeli Standards Institute with all regards to ISO45001 audits, standard knowledge and conforming it/ knowledge, procedures and WI writing at safety events handling + Design and implement the relevant procedures and requirements of radiation, radioactive, hazardous materials and heavy mechanics + On-time report the H&S information (incidents, proactive metrics etc.) **You're the right fit if:** + Relevant academic degree in technical or science related subject + Experience in EHS and / or safety domains , preferable in a medical / regulated industry + Experience in a complex R&D and Manufacturing environments within corporate organizations + Proven managerial experience + Ability to design and execute the overall strategy of EHD in a matrix environment + Experience with ISO14001 & ISO45001 + Presentation/ Training skills + Fluent English **Preferred** + Professional certification: Safety Supervisor-Safety Certification + Valid Permit etc. - an advantage + Radiation Experience - an advantage + Crisis Management Experience - an advantage **How we work together** We believe that we are better together than apart. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
