**Summary:** At Meta Reality Labs (RL), we are developing the future of mixed reality (MR) and augmented reality (AR) products. As a Display Panel Engineer, you will be a member of our Display Hardware organization, taking a lead in display panel development to set the technical goals, be the point of contact and interface to the product development team, lead the development of leading-edge technologies and manufacturing, and work with the current and evolving ecosystem to provide differentiating capabilities to our HW platforms. You will be part of a tight-knit group of highly talented engineers at the forefront of innovation for our MR products. **Required Skills:** Display Panel Engineer Responsibilities: 1. Define panel specifications for high-ppi display modules. 2. Define and execute panel validation plans and methodologies, including electrical, optical and mechanical aspects of the panels 3. Identify risks in the panel (backplane and cell) process and develop mitigation strategies. 4. Track and resolve issues through various phases of production, and perform failure-mode and root-cause analysis. 5. Work closely with display vendors to ensure panel quality. 6. Work closely with internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure panel design and process meets the specs at the component, board, and system level. **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 7. Master’s degree or Ph.D degree in Physics, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience. 8. 3+ years of experience in display front-end development, such as panel design, process and display manufacturing. 9. Experience in thin film transistor process integration, such as a-Si TFT, LTPS (low temperature polysilicon), Oxide TFT, or LTPO (low temperature polysilicon and oxide). 10. Capability to perform and design DOE, data analysis, SPC control, yield improvement, root cause investigation, FACA, quality control. 11. Experience with optical and electrical lab equipment for display process and display performance verification. 12. Experience in working with display vendors, and assembly suppliers. 13. Track-record of delivering high volume, deadline focused consumer products. 14. Project management, demonstrated experience in communicating with suppliers and stakeholders effectively to drive meaningful impact 15. Experience in other display technology, such as color filter, LCD cell, OLED display, module process. 18. Experience in thin film failure analysis, such as SEM, TEM, EDS, AFM, probe station. 19.
