Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech The **Director of Value Stream Management Excellence** will play a key role in the Value Stream Management & Business Capabilities Team. This role will oversee the deployment, execution, and optimization of Value Stream Management processes and tools, ensuring adherence to best practices and driving operational excellence across the organization. With a strong focus on digital transformation, this role will leverage innovative digital solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness on process an tools. The incumbent will collaborate with the MedTech Value Stream Management Community, Regional, and Functional leaders to drive consistency in processes, tools, and technologies while aligning digital strategies with business objectives. **Digital Enablement:** + Lead the strategic integration of digital tools and solutions into Value Stream Management processes, ensuring effective implementation and sustainment + Collaborate with Digital teams to identify, assess, and prioritize opportunities for digital transformation within Value Stream Management, ensuring alignment with overall business strategies. + Develop and implement process improvement initiatives that leverage advanced analytics, automation, and digital technologies to drive end-to-end (E2E) collaboration, effectiveness, and quality. + Conduct comprehensive training sessions and facilitate workshops to elevate the digital competencies of teams, ensuring employees understand and can utilize digital solutions effectively. + Establish and monitor metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success and impact of digital initiatives, providing data-driven insights to inform continuous improvement strategies. **Standards and Deployment Activities:** + Spearhead the deployment and execution of Value Stream Management processes, ensuring they are fully integrated across all business units and aligned with strategic goals and objectives. + Ensure adherence to established Value Stream Management processes and standards, promoting a culture of accountability, and operational excellence throughout the organization. + Engage actively with all Business Units to assess their unique needs, deploying tailored Value Stream Management processes, tools, and capabilities that drive strategic alignment and operational efficiencies. + Support the development and execution of the VSM Strategy and Change Management initiatives, ensuring effective communication and engagement with stakeholders at all levels to facilitate buy-in and collaboration. + Support applicable governance forums (e.g., Health of Business Reviews) for Integrated Business Management-related topics. **Qualifications:** **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Digital Sciences, Operations Management, or a related field. + Master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred. **Experience:** + 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. + Extensive experience in value stream management and process ownership, particularly in large-scale supply chain environments. + Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams to align business capabilities with strategic business goals. **Skills and Competencies:** + Deep understanding of Value Stream Management (VSM) methodologies and frameworks, with a strong emphasis on digital tools and solutions. + Expertise in business capabilities management, specifically focusing on driving operational excellence and strategic digital alignment. + Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute with precision in a digital context. + Strong project management capabilities, particularly in driving digital initiatives and cross-functional efforts. + Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills **Certifications:** + Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification is a plus. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
