The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to position the hotel as a leading luxury destination. This role oversees all branding, digital, PR and promotional activities to drive revenue, enhance brand presence, and ensure alignment with the standards of a luxury hospitality brand.
\nWhat will I be doing
\nAs a Director of Marketing, you will play an essential role in developing and implementing the annual public relations and marketing plan, driving key objectives, current initiatives and leading relevant activities relating to the hotel. The role will be responsible for directing the hotel’s public relations and marketing team, driving results and ensuring the department performs as an integral role in bringing together all function areas to ensure commercial targets are achieved. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nLead and direct the overall hotel PR and marketing function, serving as the central point of alignment for regional marketing, communications, revenue management, sales, finance, hotel operations, F&B, and e-Commerce.\nDevelop and implement, in collaboration with operative and commercial departments, an annual bespoke marketing and PR plan by segment, ensuring alignment with budget targets to meet revenue objectives.\nEnsure effective PR and marketing strategies are in place, emphasizing brand awareness, media relations, and responsiveness to evolving market trends.\nDevelop and execute the annual marketing plan, aligning with overall business objectives and luxury brand positioning.\nIdentify target market segments, including leisure travelers, corporate clients, and high-net-worth individuals, to drive high-value bookings.\nOversee the creation of compelling marketing campaigns, including digital, print, social media, and PR initiatives, to effectively communicate the hotel’s unique offerings.\nCollaborate with the Sales, Revenue Management, and Operations teams to optimize marketing efforts and ensure consistent brand messaging.\nResponsible for departmental budgets, ensuring cost control and operational effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards.\nAnalyze market trends, competitive landscape, and guest feedback to refine marketing strategies and enhance guest experiences.\nLead the execution of brand partnerships, sponsorships, and influencer collaborations to elevate the hotel’s market presence.\nDrive all brand, media, and customer partnerships to maximize revenue-generating and non-revenue-generating opportunities.\nDirect the content creation process, ensuring that all marketing collateral aligns with luxury brand standards and engages the target audience.\nDevelop and manage the hotel’s digital marketing strategy, including website optimization, SEO, and targeted email campaigns.\nLead market research initiatives to identify emerging trends, guest preferences, and new marketing opportunities.\nManage the hotel’s social media presence, ensuring content is visually compelling, on-brand, and effectively engages the target audience.\nCultivate a strong network with local media, ensuring regular and strategic media outreach to enhance brand visibility.\nMonitor marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior leadership on campaign effectiveness and ROI.\nOversee the production of marketing materials, including brochures, digital content, promotional videos, and branded merchandise.\nImplement strategies to drive direct bookings through targeted marketing initiatives, reducing dependency on third-party channels.\nLead, mentor, and develop the Marketing team through strong leadership, active participation in hiring, and supporting their growth and success.\nEnsure all marketing communications align with luxury service standards, reinforcing the hotel’s brand image and guest experience.\nWhat are we looking for
