Director, Strategy and Operations

ADP is hiring a Director, Strategy & Operations in our Global Product and Technology (GPT) Organization. In this high-impact role, you will serve as a trusted partner to our executive leadership team, driving strategic initiatives, streamlining operations, and ensuring alignment across ADP’s global product portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy and execution, shaping how we plan, prioritize, and operate at scale.

 

This is an individual contributor role. The location is hybrid onsite 3 days a week in Roseland NJ.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Here is what you can expect:

Strategic Planning. Help manage the annual strategic planning cycle for the Global Product & Technology organization. Portfolio Management & Insight-Driven Decision Making. Own and improve the product portfolio management process by consolidating financial performance, deliver clear, data-backed insights that empower leadership to make informed investment decisions, and ensure strategic alignment across products. Operations & Process Excellence. Drive internal operational improvements by identifying pain points, mapping processes, and co-developing solutions with key teams. Executive Support & Communications. Create high-impact materials and narratives for internal and external stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, clients, and leadership forums. Cross-Functional Collaboration. Build trusted relationships across product, finance, engineering, and marketing teams. Ensure alignment of strategy and execution across diverse functions and senior leaders.

 

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

You will have a bachelor’s degree OR equivalent. You have 6 - 8 years of experience related to strategy, ideally within a technology or product-focused organization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

MBA Preferred but not required. Experience in a top-tier consulting firm, product strategy or corporate strategy at a technology company Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with a love for turning data into insights (excel is your happy place). Experience developing and evaluating strategies: identifying and framing issues, developing hypotheses, conducting market research and analyses to test key hypotheses, developing execution plans.  Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft and deliver compelling messages to internal and external audiences, including executives, customers, and partners. Strong problem-solving skills Ability to influence at senior levels and lead cross-functional teams.
